kindle

The Clarkston Independence District Library is now circulating Kindle Paperwhites, which are pre-loaded with a wide range of popular titles for adults, teens and children. We will be constantly adding new titles as they become available.

Holds may be placed for the Kindles through the Library’s online catalog. All checkouts and returns of the devices are handled at the Circulation Desk.

Adult Department

The Clarkston Independence District Library believes that people should never stop learning, never stop growing and that we should all be empowered to connect with our community. The Adult department offers a large collection of print and electronic materials to help our patrons meet their information needs. We provide historical and genealogical materials in our special collections, and our interlibrary loan services allow patrons to borrow material from other libraries. Along with our collection of print reference sources, you also have access to several online databases.
